High school students’ open discussion

At the Yaroslavl Educational Forum, Leading Russian and European scientists, teachers and experts will be discussing development strategy for education in Russia and European countries. High school students’ opinion about development trends for modern school system is of great importance.
High school students’ open discussion “Attending school must not impede my education” (development strategy according to high school students) is meant to be a joint event for the participants of the International conference “Modernization in sphere of education as a condition of stable development” and the 15th Russian students’ scientific conference “Discovery”.
High school students from 48 constituent territories of The Russian Federation and their coevals from Austria, Czech Republic and Finland will participate in the discussion.
The following scientists will play the role of experts for the discussion:
- Mr. Igor M. Remorenko, Secretary of State – Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation;
- Mr. Efim. L. Rachevsky, Moscow High School Tsaritsyno 548, director;
- Mr. Alexey G. Kasparzhak, Institute for Educational Studies in National research university “Higher School of Economics”, professor. The head of the Centre for educational leadership.
The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Mikhail A. Niankovsky, distinguished teacher of The Russian Federation, winner of the national “Teacher of the Year competition” – 1994.
Politicians and scientists are currently working on the Development Strategy for Russian education till the year 2020… What will the Russian school be like in the nearest future? The answer cannot be given having not taken into account the opinion of students themselves, your opinion.
